Lumber & Lawn, established in 1996, operates in the “chainsaw & lawnmower” industry. It is primarily a Stihl Service Dealership, but also deal with Tandem lawnmowers and a selection of other equipment from various brands. We source new units, maintenance equipment, spare parts, safety clothing, lubricants and service & repair all equipment sold by us, as well as some others.
 Our products include the full spectrum of Stihl/Viking range of power tools distributed by Stihl S.A.: Augers; Blowers; Blower/Vacuums; Brushcutters; Chainsaws; Chippers; Cut-off saws; Edge trimmers; Harvesters for olive, nut & coffee trees; Hedge trimmers; High pressure cleaners; Long reach pruners/trimmers; Mistblowers; Multi/Combi tools; Shredders; Tillers; Vacuum cleaners as well as branded Merchandise. In the lawnmower category we do the Tandem range of push type lawnmowers and the Turfmaster range of Kudu self driven walk behind mowers. We also promote the Silky range of hand saws & pole pruners and the Löwe range of hand pruners & loppers.
We operate from Paarl where our showroom, workshop, logistics and administrative facilities are centrally based to cover our service area. Since 2003 we act as supplier/service agent to major Agricultural co-ops and service the following District Municipal Areas: Cape Town Metro:- City of Cape Town, including Helderberg West Coast:- Matzikama, Cederberg, Berg river, Saldanha Bay, Swartland Boland:- Stellenbosch, Drakenstein, Witzenberg, Breede Valley, Breede River Winelands Overberg:- Theewaterskloof, Overstrand, Swellendam, Cape Agulhas.
Our client base includes municipalities, correctional services, forestry-, water- and nature conservation institutions, schools, contractors and domestic clients. Our famer market are mostly covered through our relationship with KaapAgri & Vilko who acts as our agents in the outlying areas.
